Haendel. El Mesías. I know that my Redeemer liveth

La taercera parte del Oratorio El Mesías de Haendel está dedicado al triunfo de Cristo Resucitado. Escuchamos hoy su primer número, que es un aria para soprano. Lynne Dawson canta I know that my redeemer liveth, con el grupo Brandenburg Consort, dirigido por Stephen Cleobury.

43. Aria (Soprano) (Job 19:25-26) I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.  (1 Corinthians 15:20) For now is Christ risen  from the dead, the first fruits  of them that sleep.
